CASUAL FRIDAYS

At most workplaces there is casual Fridays. You know, you can wear jeans to work, sweat shirts or sneakers. If I am not going to Jumah then I definitely take advantage of casual Fridays. Here is an example of what I’d wear to work:

Lazy Saturday or Sunday Afternoon

If I was hanging out at a cafe or coffee shop, this is what I’d be inclined to wear. Can you see me typing on a laptop, reading a book or hanging out with friends? In the Caribbean we call it “limin.’”

Going to Jumah



When I go to Jumah I try to keep it simple. No bliggin’. The diva is toned down. No, it doesn’t always mean wearing a black abaya but this is one example of my “Jumah wear.”
